Awards - Metro Skatepark

We have just been notified that the Metro Skatepark has won yet another award. The park has been recognized by the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association with the 2007 Award of Excellence for Innovation. This award is in addition to awards from the British Columbia Parks and Recreation Association (2006 Award for Facility Excellence), Skaters for Public Skateparks (2006 - Skatepark terrain diversity Award) and the BC Ready Mixed Concrete Association (2007 Special Applications Artistic Merit). I believe that we are the first Landscape Architecture firm to win a BCRMCA "connie" award....it certainly looks nice on the wall!
