Landscape situated in around an existing dwelling on a flat lot  in a residential neighbourhood.

Problem Statement

To design a space incorporating the following elements: pool, spa, sunbathing deck, outdoor eating space, all allowing for children’s play.  The space shall provide a balance of sun and shade, and allow for privacy from the neighbours.

Design Solution

The design  is laid out to capture the afternoon sun.  The spaces are layered to provide a variety of uses throughout the days and seasons.
